The wines of Anjou

Anjou wines do not figure greatly on the lists of UK wine merchants, yet the region produces a range of wines from methode traditionalle sparkling, to dry white, rosé, robust reds and sweet white wines of great longevity. The principal grape varieties are Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc, with other varieties grown including Anjou's own, Grolleau. John Muggleton will cover the range of wines from four vineyards and one co-op.
